Scurry postponed due to thunderstorms in the forecast!
Stay tuned for a reschedule date
May 20, 2018
**Sorry folks, with the violent weather we have been having I felt it safest to postpone the Scurry. The Dickson Rings have an open field and no shelter.
The Southern New England Carriage Driving Association (SNECDA) was established in December, 2012 when the Rhode Island Driving Club and the Massachusetts Carriage and Driving Society merged to form SNECDA. The two clubs, now as one have a membership of over 70 drivers from all over New England. The mission remains the same, to foster and encourage good relations between all horse related organizations, to promote and co-ordinate driving shows and other activities, to formulate publicity and educational programs and other activities in the interest of driving enthusiasts and to promote, encourage and stimulate popular interest in driving and driving horses of any breed. Come and drive with us!!
Southern New England Carriage Driving Association
Welcome to the Southern New England Carriage Driving Association. We are a group of carriage driving enthusiasts that welcome everyone interested in carriage driving, regardless of their skill level. We meet monthly for clinics, shows, events and any other excuse we can come up with to gather for carriage driving. We especially enjoy getting together for eating and talking amongst ourselves, always great sport for carriage drivers.
On our Calendar of Eventspage you will find a listing of all the the SNECDA events, other public-invited shows, clincs and events in the New England area. If a listing is underlined, clicking on it will bring you to the events page on the web.
On our Membership page (Join Us!) you will be invited to join the SNECDA. There is a link to the paper membership application in pdf format that can be printed and mailed. Even if you do not have a horse to drive you are welcome to join us. Come drive with SNECDA!!
